DescriptionTaken from a window of a building on the south side of Michigan Avenue, this view is looking northeast down Michigan Avenue with the focus on the Super Bargain Center, formally Sears and Roebuck, located at 161 East Michigan Avenue. The old hand painted Sears Sign can still be seen on the upper corner of the building. Next door is visible the Industrial State Bank located at 151 East Michigan Avenue. As of 2006, both of these buildings have been restored however the businesses have since changed.
