Miss Becksfort and Mr. Prince are holding hands. This image was taken in October of 1941 just prior to the star of World War II, 1941-1945. As of 2006, Fort Custer operates as a Army Reserves base with most of the World War II era structures now demolished and the land sold off for industrial development.
