(formally
South
Burdick

. The
modern
building
located
to the
left
(east)
is
the
former
Michigan
Theater
which
has been
purchased
and
remodeled
by the
bank
to
house
the
First
National
Bank
and
Trust's
Personal
Loan
and
Trust
Department
.
During
the
1970's
the
terra
cotta
facade
of the
First
National
Bank
was
covered
with
sleek
white
marble
changing
this
structure
from the
ornate
into a
rather
boring
"
white
box.
" As of
2006
this
building
continue
to
serve
as a
financial
institution
under
the
name
of
National
City
and the
two
adjoining
buildings
on the
left
(east)
have been
incorporated
into this
banking
complex
.
