theater
complex
slated
to
open
in
late
2006
. The

standing

corner
of the

is
Ken
Harvey's
Standard
Service
Station-188
Portage
Street
(demolished)
while
the
two
large
structures
standing
to the
north
(left)
of the
service
station
are the
Columbia
Hotel-162
Portage
Street
(demolished)
and the
Midway
Hotel-150
Portage
Street
(demolished)
.
Moving
to the
east
side
of
Portage
Street
(buildings
facing
the
camera)
all
of these
structures
with the
exception
of the
building
located
on the
southeast
corner
of
Michigan
Avenue
and
Portage
Street
(far
left)
and the
two
located
on the
northeast
corner
of
South
Street
and
Portage
Street
(far
right)
have been
demolished
. The
large
multistoried
building
standing
near
the
center
bottom
edge
is
the
Park
Building
or
Pythian
Building
located
at
130-134
South
Street
(demolished
2006
to
make
way
for a
new
business
complex)
. The
buildings
located
on the
southeast
corner
of
Burdick
Street
and
South
Street
near
the
lower
right
corner
are the
Peck
Building-309
South
Burdick
(demolished)
.
Immediately
to the
rear
(west)
of the
Peck
Building
stand
a
series
of
structures
along
the
south
side
of
South
Street
.
All
of these
buildings
have been
demolished
to
make
way
for a
parking
structure
.
