Description	Aerial view, looking northeast, of the Portage Central School Complex. In the lower center is the Portage Central High School building located at 8135 South Westnedge Avenue. On the back of the building is visible the construction of the new auditorium, band and choir rooms. To the right of this building is Portage Central Junior High School or Middle School, located at 8305 South Westnedge. The older building to the left of the High School is Portage Public Schools Administration Building located at 8111 South Westnedge. Originally built in 1922 the building first held a consolidated school consisting of all grades. As class sizes expanded new facilities were constructed and this building was kept for administrative purposes. The building near the top left corner of the complex is Waylee Elementary School located at 8106 Waylee Drive. As of 2006 all of these buildings remain functioning as public schools.
